Basically whatever flaws fairy tail had, Edens zero tackles it. The story is similar to one piece but the setup is in space. This manga also gets dark as the story progresses. You will totally enjoy it. The starting few chapters may put you off but hold on and continue. This review is based after I have read 160 chapters.

Edens Zero takes place in a space faring universe inhabited by humans, aliens, and sentient robots. The universe is divided into smaller "cosmos", with the Sakura Cosmos serving as the introductory setting.
When I first heard about Eden's Zero, I was actually pretty excited. I loved Mashima's work with Fairy Tail, despite the many flaws the series contained. So when the first chapter of Eden's Zero came out, I was pretty happy. The chapter was interesting, I liked the world it was setting up, and I also liked the characters that were introduced.
